Celebs Who Had Their First Kiss On-Screen
First kisses can be wonderful or weird... and sometimes they are both. Generally, your first kiss happens in private (or maybe during a game of spin the bottle). The truth is that many celebrities who start working in their younger years actually have their first kisses on camera, which means not only that there are people standing around watching, but they are watching from a totally technical perspective with full lights and camera on them. That provides zero privacy, and there is not really any way to prepare for that. They might even have to the kiss multiple times immediately following the first time. Most actors kiss on camera at some point, but first kisses? Yikes. The following celebrities not only had their first kisses on camera but they also lived to tell the tale. And the tales are pretty fascinating! And some even went on to get married!
Josh Hutcherson
Josh Hutcherson had his first kiss on the film Little Manhattan. He
was only 11 at the time and his dad went with him to be a support on the
set. However, even with the support, it wasn't exactly the smoothest of
experiences. Josh has said that “It was a horrible first kiss because I had
a crew of, like, 50 people standing around watching me and it was the most
non-real, non-intimate that I could possibly have for my first kiss I
think.” Oh well. Josh grew up to do a lot more on-screen kissing with stars
like Jennifer Lawrence when he starred alongside in The Hunger Games. Josh
later said that Jennifer was his first real intense on-screen kiss. When she
asked him if it was good he said no and then followed with "It was a little
abrasive, if I'm being honest. A little shocking." Aw, well. They can't all
be great, Jennifer, on the other hand, thought that their kissing chemistry
was great.
