Marilyn Monroe Abort Robert F. Kennedy's Baby
Marilyn Monroe had become pregnant with married lover Robert F. Kennedy's child—but aborted the baby shortly before her tragic death.
The blonde bombshell died on Aug. 5, 1962 and her admirers are
mourning the anniversary of her passing this week. Although the coroner
ruled Monroe died at age 36 of a "probable suicide" after ingesting numerous
barbiturates, many still believe there are questions about the circumstances
of her demise.
One of the secrets the Some Like It Hot actress
reportedly took to her grave was her pregnancy by RFK, who was married to
wife Ethel but allegedly followed his brother JFK in her bed.
The National Examiner reported in 1989 that thousands of pages
of government dossiers showed that Monroe almost drove Bobby mad with rage
when she told him she was pregnant with her child.
She allegedly had the baby aborted before her death.
The claim has never been confirmed.
But with some of
the mysteries of Monroe's death having never been satisfactorily explained,
investigators think it's possible that the star, having just aborted Bobby's
child, was driven to suicide when the Attorney General turned up at her
house one day to tell her their affair was over.
