IRS Investigates Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Over Travalyst Fund Allegations

The involvement of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in the Archewell Foundation has faced criticism and scrutiny. Reports emerged suggesting that the couple was dedicating only one hour per week to the foundation, as revealed in a report from March of this year. An examination of specific sections of the Archewell Foundation's website indicates that it hasn't been updated to reflect their recent activities.

Significantly, despite their apparent disconnection from the foundation for several months, the Archewell Audio page on the foundation's website still references Meghan and Harry's agreement with Spotify. The report from March also disclosed that the Sussexes had distributed over $3 million in grants after raising $13 million from two wealthy benefactors.

The Daily Mail, having obtained public documents, asserted that Harry and Meghan's contribution to the foundation was limited to one hour a week, translating to 52 hours a year. Archewell Productions, an entity associated with the foundation, appears to have just one staff member, and the Archewell Foundation itself has encountered difficulties with the Trademark Office, having exhausted all five allowed extensions. One of the extensions was requested due to a lack of clarity regarding the foundation's purpose and products.

Some have expressed concerns that the content produced by Kevin Carner, a filmmaker hired by Archewell, may have been used to divert attention from the foundation's challenges. Similar questions have been raised regarding Harry's involvement with other organizations, such as BetterUp, which doesn't seem directly related to the successful Invictus project. There have also been reports of staff turnover and indications of downsizing at Archewell, with French journalists even visiting the empty office in Beverly Hills, raising questions about the lack of activity related to document filing.

A recorded video of this visit showcases the vacant offices, and these journalists have produced a documentary highlighting the lack of transparency within the company. Critics have gone as far as to question the legitimacy of the Archewell Foundation, suggesting it may be operating as a fraudulent scheme. They point to the foundation's registration in Delaware, where approximately 95% of funds could theoretically be allocated to various expenses, including private jets, clothing, parties, jewelry, security, and more.

Allegations of an IRS investigation into Archewell have surfaced, particularly concerning Harry's potential mishandling of charity funds. Some have raised doubts about the utilization of a $10 million donation received in 2022, especially given the nearing end of 2023. Additionally, there have been reports of donations going to Meghan's attorney, sparking concerns about fund usage.

One of the most contentious allegations revolves around Prince Harry allegedly transferring $200,000 from Travalyst, a charity initiative he founded, into his own for-profit company. While Harry and his company maintain that this transfer was legal, an anonymous source strongly disputes this, asserting that it amounts to theft. The source argues that regardless of legal technicalities, moving donated money from one charity into a private company's account constitutes theft.

The nature of Prince Harry's ongoing involvement with Travalyst remains a point of contention, with reports suggesting he was removed from the board of directors. However, Travalyst CEO Davy has emphasized his continued integral role within the organization.
